"Angie" results

To quote a Lance Armstrong phrase after his NYC marathon debut:
"OH. MY. GOD. OUCH. TERRIBLE."

Here's the playground Mike built over the last week where I did today's workout.

80 "kipping" pull-ups broken down into sets of 10.
60 push ups, I dropped to knees at 30.
85 sit-ups broken into 3 sets of 25, then a lone 10.
100 squats, my quads are burning now.

I feel like I ran a race. I don't know which exercise hurt the worst, but the push ups and sit ups were a lot harder than I thought they'd be.

Here's the pull-up bar Mike built for me today, so I could actually do this crazy workout.

If it weren't for the platform assisting me on the kipping pull ups, I wouldn't have been able to do more than 10. That just about kicked my butt. Wait, it DID kick my butt.

Time to rest and relax with the kids and Mike! Yaaaay!

I love it that your husband customized a kids' playground so mom could "play" too. :)

Yep, that would pretty much sum up how I feel after my 30 min swim today! I can't seem to move my arms without them screaming at me!!

Oh, and wow...100 pullups and pushups...?? No thank you! I'd be impressed if someone could do even half that.

I guess its a playground for adults, too!

Anyways, thanks for that video clip you shared with me. I liked it so much that I put it as part of mysite as well. Hope you don't mind.

Incredible! Coming from a guy who could not even figure out the plan to actually start building such a THING, I am humbled!

And I will make my kids don't see it!!
