
I went to the gym and did today's CrossFit workout of Back Squats, threw in some Shoulder Presses too, then did a recovery/easy run of 4 miles on the treadmill (9:11 pace). I have to remind myself that "easy" or "recovery" runs SHOULD BE RUN AT A SLOWER PACE. I always want to go faster during these runs, but that's how you get injured. So I followed the rules and went at the prescribed pace. I skipped the 4 x 100 meter strides because I didn't want to do them on a treadmill, and I figured the Back Squats worked my legs similarly.
