I was supposed to run an easy 4 miler today followed by 6 x 100 strides, but it felt so good to be out running after yesterday's big rainstorm that I ran for 6 miles instead. It was very nice to run easy and not involve speed!

Yesterday during a break in the rain the baby and I went out to do a few things, like buy me a new Boston Red Sox ball cap to wear during the marathon. I'm getting so excited for the trip and the race. We were assigned our bib numbers today and it hit home that this long awaited dream of mine is finally going to become reality in a few weeks, God willing!
Time to have some grub with the family and to get ready to watch who gets the boot but good on American Idol. Please be Sanjaya. Please be Sanjaya! (Sorry Sanjaya fans)! See ya tomorrow after the 8-10 mile "virtual" hill run.
TOTAL MILES: 6

Will you post your bib number on your blog so we can track you during the race?

How can family members track my running from home?
The B.A.A. will broadcast every 5Km split to its web site and family and friends can track your progress by logging in and entering your name or bib number. The "face" of the Boston Marathon web site will change on race day and the process on how to enter the search will be clear.
Hi Billy,
I will definitely put my number on the blog before I head to Boston. Thanks for asking! Let's hope I'm not stuck in one place too long, because that'd mean a "Did Not Finish." But I'm thinking good thoughts!
I am so excited for you! You are going to do awesome. All of your HARD training WILL pay off!
LOVE the hat. I am such a Red Sox fan.
