I just peeked out my bedroom window and saw raindrops falling in the pool. I love it. I had to post something about it because even though the kids will have to play soccer in the rain and I'll have to cheer them on in the rain, I really want to run in the rain! For the last 2 days I've run easy paced miles and tomorrow I have a tough triple play speed session. The marathon goal pace, 800s, tempo pace run. I would love to do that outside in cool, damp weather. Crossing my fingers. I'll report back tomorrow.
In the meantime I have a confession. As late as it is, I just polished of AN ENTIRE PINT of Ben and Jerry's Karamel Sutra. Man it was good. I'll regret it in the morning when I'm dragging because of all the sugar. But that run later in the morning will do me good.
